This video documents an activated encounter between the fiber sculpture and the body. Movement emerges through holding, stabilizing, and carrying, shaped by the sculpture’s weight and resistance rather than expressive intent. The activation foregrounds endurance, containment, and duration, allowing the material to assert its physical logic over the body. Sound elements derived from altered recordings of textile tools and fibers create a restrained atmosphere that reinforces the sculpture’s density and suspended state. The work extends the Landscapes of Belonging sculptures, offering insight into how the material organizes bodily attention while remaining grounded in sculptural presence.
